Blip: Barcode QR Keyboard is an iPhone and iPad app that adds a custom keyboard and barcode or QR scanner workflow.
Data stored on your device
Blip stores settings, keyboard configuration, scan requests, pending scan results, company profiles, and optional scan history locally on your device. This data is stored in the app container or the App Group shared by the Blip app and Blip keyboard extension.
Camera access
Blip uses the camera only to detect barcodes and QR codes. Camera frames are processed on device. Blip does not upload camera images or video and does not save photos or videos from the scanner.
Keyboard Full Access
iOS separates keyboard extensions from their containing apps. Blip asks for Full Access so the keyboard extension and scanner app can exchange the scan request and scan result through the shared App Group. Blip does not collect what you type, does not send keystrokes to a server, and does not use keyboard input for advertising or tracking.
Scan history
Scan history is optional and remains on this device. You can turn history off, choose a retention period, delete individual items, or clear the entire history in the app.
No tracking, ads, analytics, or cloud sync
Blip does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, third-party tracking, accounts, or cloud sync. Scan data is not sold or shared with data brokers.
Feedback emails
If you choose to send feedback or report a scan issue, Blip opens an email draft. The draft can include the diagnostic context visible in the email, such as app version, iOS version, device model, selected return target, selected scanner settings, and, for scan issue reports, the scan value shown in the draft. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send the email.

Daten auf deinem Gerät
Blip speichert Einstellungen, Tastaturkonfiguration, Scan-Anfragen, ausstehende Scan-Ergebnisse, Firmenprofile und optionalen Scanverlauf lokal auf deinem Gerät. Diese Daten liegen im App-Container oder in der App-Gruppe, die von der Blip-App und der Blip-Tastaturerweiterung gemeinsam genutzt wird.
Kamerazugriff
Blip nutzt die Kamera nur, um Barcodes und QR-Codes zu erkennen. Kamerabilder werden auf dem Gerät verarbeitet. Blip lädt keine Kamerabilder oder Videos hoch und speichert keine Fotos oder Videos aus dem Scanner.
Voller Zugriff für die Tastatur
iOS trennt Tastaturerweiterungen von ihren Apps. Blip benötigt Vollen Zugriff, damit Tastaturerweiterung und Scanner-App Scan-Anfrage und Scan-Ergebnis über die gemeinsame App-Gruppe austauschen können. Blip sammelt keine Tastatureingaben, sendet keine Tastenanschläge an einen Server und nutzt Tastatureingaben nicht für Werbung oder Tracking.
Scanverlauf
Der Scanverlauf ist optional und bleibt auf diesem Gerät. Du kannst den Verlauf deaktivieren, eine Aufbewahrungsdauer wählen, einzelne Einträge löschen oder den gesamten Verlauf in der App entfernen.
Kein Tracking, keine Werbung, keine Analyse, keine Cloud-Synchronisierung
Blip verwendet keine Werbe-SDKs, Analyse-SDKs, Drittanbieter-Tracking, Konten oder Cloud-Synchronisierung. Scandaten werden nicht verkauft und nicht mit Datenbrokern geteilt.
Feedback-E-Mails
Wenn du Feedback sendest oder ein Scanproblem meldest, öffnet Blip einen E-Mail-Entwurf. Der Entwurf kann den dort sichtbaren Diagnosekontext enthalten, zum Beispiel App-Version, iOS-Version, Gerätemodell, Rückkehrziel, Scanner-Einstellungen und bei Scanproblemen den im Entwurf angezeigten Scanwert. Es wird nichts gesendet, solange du die E-Mail nicht selbst abschickst.
